Hi everyone... Quick question that i'm hoping someone could answer. I have had my maroon clown since it was a baby. It's been almost 2 years now and i have never had a problem with it. He also hosts my large frogspawn as his own anenome...lol...;-)... But for over two weeks his bright white stripes turned into a dark grey... And today for the first time in weeks they are back to a bright white... Does anyone know if this is normal or why it even happened.... Please get back to me.... Thanks, louie

It could be nothing to worry about. We've had reports here of fish changing color for seemingly no reason, and then they go back to 'normal' with no apparent side affects.
I had a goby and half his head turned a different color for a few weeks..but he was acting/eating fine.

There is so much we don't understand about fish yet..could be hormonal, something in the tank, something outside of the tank that could cause stress..bottom line if the fish is breathing, eating, acting in a normal way, just keep an eye on him and worry if you see a negative change.
