I have a 24 gallon Aquapod with a Royal Gramma, Clown goby, Tailspot Blenny, a large Pajama cardinal and a baby one. I am getting a Blue eyed Cardinal and was wondering whether I can leave the Gramma in there or not. The small fish run away from him. He does charge the large Pajama cardinal at times and actually bumps him with his mouth wide open. The cardinal doesn't move away and just acts as if nothing happened.

A while ago when I put the small Pajama cardinal in I put in 2 and they both had a rough time with shredded fins but I never did find out if it was the Gramma or the big Cardinal. One died but one managed to make it. This is a different kind of cardinal so I don't expect the big cardinal to bother it. But the Gramma thinks he is boss.

Update: I didn't realize how big blue eyes woule be. He is much biger than my gramma and the spotted cardinal. Put in blue eyes last night so he had some time for himself. When lights went on this morning I did not see any problem with the Grama but there was some interplay with the big Pajama cardinal. They seem to jostle each other lightly like they would their own type for a heirarchy. I didn't expect it because their shapes are very different. Will try to post pictures when I get home.

royal grammas are pretty peaceful fish dont c y it would be an issue there mate
I have had a few and they are not peacefull. They might not bite but they open their mouths very large and lung at the fish so even if they don't actually bite but the scare the other fish. Anyway do far it has not been a problem.
This picture is after he is in the tank 24 hours and when lights are out. Everyone is sleeping except for him and the small pajama at 1 oclock from his tail.
