Hey all, im stocking my 110, slowly of course, put this gorgeous goldrim/white cheek tang in about 2-3 weeks ago. Hes been doing great since the day i got him, ate two hours after acclimation, and has been tearing thru nori and formula two on the daily.

The past two days however, we have noticed that he has gotten very fat...like reaaaalllly fat. the girth is symetrical, it almost looks like theres something sharp poking out on one side. He hasnt been as active and i havent seen him eating very much, though the nori is getting eaten by someone, im assumming the lawnmower blenny. Any idea of what this could be? parasites? his color is great, better then ever, so im pretty confused. i just dont want to dip him and stress him out if hes just fat or constipated.
cant get pics, hes been chilling in his cave and my camera is trash.

water params are fine, duh.

twice a day with the formula 2 pellets, a 1/4 sheet of nori every day or other day depending on whether its been eaten or not. the chromis and clown usually eat most of the pellets, the tang seemed to stick to the sheets, maybe one or two pellets.

the bacterial/viral front is what im thinking, if i can catch him ill give him a fresh dip but thats going to be unlikely.
