About two weeks ago I bought a firefish and a false percula. I have a 24 gallon with a royal gramma, a clown gobie aand a spotted cardinal. I have the clown gobie aand a spotted cardinal for a number of years and the gramma was put in a few months ago. I also had a firefish and it died so I bought a replacement. It lasted about two weeks and then I found it dead. Looked ok other than it was dead. The clown died about a week later. Until then it was swimming all over and eating. Then one morning I saw it sitting at the bottom. I never did see a body but it must have died.
So now its a few days later and everything else seems ok. I got these fish the same day but from two different stores. I suspect the gramma may have been responsible but I didn't see any aggression and no ripped fins.
