I've purchase, tiger pods in the refrigerated bottle, and even got a capri sun like pouch of reef pods( the tisebre kind...or whatever they are). What I would like to know is where I can purchase amphipods, arthopods and the like, even copepods. I would really like to infuse my system with a lot of bugs.

So any good sites out there?

There are vendors here that also sell them, or can get them if they don't have in stock :)

You live in Riverhead, just go to a muddy beach and collect a few thousand.
You need to go toa bay, I can't think of one near you at the moment but I got a million yesterday in Port Washington, Yes I know fifty miles from you.

I normally go to a muddy beach or boat ramp and find rocks in the mud. Under them are usually hundreds of amphipods. I just shake the rock in a bucket of seawater.
I also collect them in Riverhead. A sandy beach usually doesn't work, you need mud but you can find some even on a sandy beach if you can find wood or rocks to turn over.
