Ok so last night I added a small maroon clown to my 15 reef. There is already a bicolor pseudo in the tank. Initially the pseudo just circled the clown. About 30 minutes later he began attacking. So I decided to catch and seculde him and in order to do so I had to take apart my tank. So everything is redone. Now that everything is different and the pseudo's previous territory no longer exists I figure this is a good thing. I'm going to keep the pesudo secluded for a week or so, then release him. What do you guys think about the future relationship of these two fish? I was. Hoping the maroon would defend himself and they would work it out. Will getting the clown something to host help?

next time try this put the new fish in a small container with some holes and let them see each other for about two to three days after that let the new fish out and there's minimal fighting after that i tried this once before and it worked.
i think it's because the new fish knew which area not to go into or maybe they got used to each other...............

Both those fish require a 30 gallon. So placing them in crampt quarters will just bring on more aggression. Maroons are aggressive. He may be the new guy now but he will grow and you will have a royal battle.
You would be much better off getting some small gobies.

Released the pseudochromis today. It was succesful as the two fish are ignoring each other and the relationship is peaceful between the two in the tank...will keep updated.
