Fish allergic to food??

Yep that is my question lol,
My hippo tang is about 2" he's Been doing great on flakes,mysis shrimp,brine shrimp,
but I go out and get
(Formula two flakes marine fish food with garlic) and all of a sudden my hippo tang is the only one to start getting what look like black spots on it entire body the next day it turns to like white hairy spots, So I keep feeding and he keeps getting worst for like three days. Then I stop feeding him those flakes and in about two days he start getting better ....as of today he has not much sign that he even had anything wrong......
What should I? Wait another week before giving another try at this food cause the other fish loved it .

Fix Your Fin Or Get Your Fin Fixed!

Try to get formula one n two the pellets one mix them togethere and feed those to it and see if he eats them.

Some food has exp. Dates on them check the date.. Cuz come lfs have them on the self for a long time... But it but I never heard of it .. But like every thing in life, every thing acts and is different..
