SWC Mini HOT skimmer

Just got this Skimmer for a week now replacing my Tunze 9002 for my Red Sea Max 130D with no top.Still in the phase of breaking in but it's a beast when it comes to skimming.Had to adjust the cup higher for a dryer foam and already pulling in some nasty dark funky stuff.Only downside is the intake strainer is a bit short so always worried about evaporation.Ordered some rigid tubing to extend deeper into the tank hoping to remedy that.It's bit loud now and hoping for it to get more quiet as it breaks in.Great performance for it's price range,Here is a pic.Could not get the back of it.TB Aquatics has them for sale.

how big is this skimmer? wondering if it will fit under my stand with my sump. there's a thread on rc about it and mentions how to reduce the noise. ty for the feedback, hope to see more as it break in

No,make sure it's full of water in the rear to get it going.
