Hey all i have an issue here. My mag 7 is gettin air caught in it, presumably from the return lines from my skimmer. It is seriously reducing my rate of flow and pro ably the life of my pump. I want to try and install a bubble catcher/baffle but am not sure if that will do it. Not only that but i cant exactly visualize a DIY one. Any insight or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Do you mean a bubble trap? That will help if you put one i between the skimmer and the return pump. Its 3 pieces of plexi or glass that will each be an 1 1/2" apart. The outside baffles will sit on the ground and the middle baffle sits an inch off the ground. The idea is that the water runs over the first, under the second and over the third. The bubbles get stuck between the fist and second. I hope this helps. I can dig up a pic of my sump if you need it.
