Has anybody owned and tried this particular blue and white dimmable par 38 led bulb?
How is the light spread? what size area will it cover on a specific height?
It is cheaper than other par 38 reef leds and is tempting to get but would want to know if anyone has first hand experience with it?

All I know is that the company LEDwholesalers has been talking about that bulb for 2 years you think they would have let some1 test it. its only $65 and it comes with a remote control to change over from white or blue or white&blue combo it. it looks intresting.

Def looks interesting. I was planning on using the par 38 bulb non' dimmable because I didnt know they had that bulb! I seen the post that wingo put up and was going to get the bulb at Mikes place on 231 in Deer Park. The one bulb is $110 tho! I plan on using one bulb over a 10 gal zoa garden. Do you have a link to the dimmable bulb?

They are all 1w LED's. You can probably cover a 15-20g tank with 1 of them but it would be spotted mainly around the center and would probably barely provide light for anything on the sand unless it was directly over the water.

IMO, for the 65$ your spending on a 1w LED fixture I would pay the 10$ more and get the 3w fixtures from rapidled with a wider spread and stronger LED for more depth. The remote is pretty cool though.

I'm totally new to this stuff. I was looking for the best LED lighting for my 55 gallon corner tank. Can anyone give me a clue what to buy and where? I need it to grow corals.
