im coming to the realization that im going to have to put a skimmer on my tank at some point. the problem is unless i put it directly in my refugium the largest amount of space i have to work with inside is 4 inches wide. something in sump is the only option too because the 20h i used takes up most of the cabinet along with the externally run mag. 7.
id appreciate it if anyone can recommend a skimmer that would work for a 57 gal [about 70 gal total volume], or perhaps if one that is big enough wont fit then any two that would work in conjunction with one another.

hey all i found one, thank you so much for the advice. i know little about skimmers. I just happened to look in my basement and found that I had one in one of many rubbermaids full of equipment from fishtanks past...the land of misfit hardware i suppose. the thing is, i lost the pump for it, im almost positive its a proclear and the diameter of the tube is just shy of 4". i have the plumbing for the old pump [venturi, etc] and the pvc is 1/2" if that helps. I really just want to know what kind of flow rate i should be looking at here..
