lighting question

im thinking about purchasing a metal halide system off of ebay which comes with a free ballast. the thing is i dont know how this ballast thing works, would i have to be connect wires together? or do i just plug something into another? like connecting the on/off switch to the ballast.

contact the seller on your inquiries and the return policy. each seller is different, sometimes buying from a reputable dealer is worth the extra $.

Yes the ballast works with just a plug connection. That guy obviously wasn't happy that you plugged ebay
