MP 40 question.

i got a new mp 40 today and i hook it up on the 92 corner i believe the glass is 3/8 thick and it got super hot.i mean i couldnt even touch it.what am i doing wrong

never mind found the problem.im guessing someone returned this mp40 because the rubber pins are bent and its not sitting properly.going to return it now

Did you adjust the setting for the glass thickness?

i did but it was HOTTTT. i got a new one.let me ask you when the mp40 is running is it supposed to ne warm to the touch.

yes it will be warm to the touch and if you run it at 100% for extended periods it will get extremely warm/slightly hot to the touch.

one last question does the mp 40 supposed to make a humm

They do hum a little, what you can do is while the pump is running try rotating the wet side this should allow you to dial out most but not all of it.
