Okay I'm setting up a RR 90 gallon tank with a 30g sump I have a
Mag-9-5 return pump , I filled it up with water turned on the pump and walla micro bubbles every where. What can I do to stop the bubbles :-/

is the inlet to the pump just before the water surface? maybe you're creating a whirlpool and sucking air in.

No I even filled it up to the point where the last baffle is full to the top, so ass not to create a water fall and see if it stops the bubbles but it didn't :-/

Can it be that the pump is just to strong??? Should I just get another pump with less flow??

Do you have a skimmer that is throwing bubbles into the sump???

The only thing running is the return pump and my Korilas it's a new setup shoot I don't even have the rocks in the tank yet. I have the skimmer but it's off

that pump is way too big for that tank, too much flow as in the sump will drain faster than the tank can into the sump

Hey would the mag-7 be good for a 90g ??? Im thinking about getting one...I might buy one or trade this pump for one.

u can install a ball valve on the return pump side and close it a little bit at a time let it sit for a while before u make any adjustments i have a 90 gallon and put a ball valve on both the drain and return and played with it for a while and know i can shut the drain side completley and dont have an over flow i am, using a sump with baffles so it only drains the pump side and thats it

+1 on pics of the set up to help figure things out ... I have a 9.5 running on a 75g with single overflow box and I don't find it to be too strong at all.
