small footprint skimmer

I'm looking into a skimmer for a 200G and the footprint in the sump is 9" x 9". The ASM skimmer footprint is too big. Do you guys have any suggestions?

tunze skimmers have small footprints. maybe some of the cone (SWC/vertex) skimmers would fit too, but that really isnt a lot of space for a skimmer big enough for a 200g tank.

I agree with jrobbins. Is there any way you can have a bit more space ? A 200 gallon tank will require a good skimmer and most skimmers rated for that size tank will be slightly bigger, especially with the required pump. I have an I-Tech 400 that is fantastic.

I used the Marineland 300 on my 90 but it is rated for up to 300 gallons. It pulled out tons of gunk and it is very small and insump.

try the super reef octopus skimmers that have the pump inside the bottem of the cone, instead of on the outside of it as it usually is. jmo
