So I have my 72 led fixture and came with the 80degree optics was wondering weather or not to put the on? My tanks only 20" deep most sps middle to top !

what are the dimensions of your tank? I would use the optics personally, if not simply to reduce light spilling over the tank.

Yeah.. if I don't use optics on my DIY LED fixture the whole room lights up, and its a retrofit!

Lenses can increase your PAR as well.

If you feel that light disperses too much even with optics on, can just go to the vendor you purchased from and they should exchange the 80 degree lenses for a tighter lens.

I recently removed all lenses after three months of testing them.
For my 24" high tank setup w/o lenses working better and all corals are open from bottom to the top.
Before corals placed on the top was half/close or blitched.

I dont want to put them on if Odontoceti have I like how it lights up the room just wondering if it's enough power for sps they seem to love it going on 6th day
