TFC Membrane

Does anyone know how often a TFC Membrane, in a captive purity ro unit, should be changed? ..have a new one but can't get the old one out so i was gonna leave it for a while longer. i've had this unit for about a year already.

I change mine once a year, I know others that run them much longer.

whats your TDS reading coming out of the unit...if you changed all your filters and it is reading a number than it probably needs to be changed...if it still reads 0 than it's still good.

Agree with Mike - unless your TDS reads more than "0", not need to change anything IMO

However, some reefers "just like to change them" once a year.
