Should this work?
I just purchased a (used) light fixture and can't figure out why it's not firing up.....the bulb is a coralife 150w but the ballast is a ARO LMH 120-175
normal input: 175w
i went through research and shows it should be able to fire up a 150w DE bulb but either it imploded or something. the bulb won't fire up and I don't have a second bulb to test it. anyone have experience with the ballast below and any other suggestions.
from i'm looking at:
a) remove and reseed bulb connection (did it plenty of times)
b) verify connections are touching each other? i saw this recommended on RC so i'll have to take a look at how the connections withing the fixture look like.
c) wiring issue - i hope not. i hate dealing with wires
d) ballast is shot - an expensive just purchased problem.
