What Size Metric Fitting - Reef Octopus

I ordered the Reef Octopus Extreme XS 160 Protein Skimmer and want to fit an elbow to the output to direct waterflow (which otherwise shoots past the top of my sump). I do not have a metric tape, so I was wondering if anyone with the same skimmer happened to know what size fittings I would need? Finding out here would save time and money compared to going to the hardware store to buy the tape, and then ordering the parts.

I had the smae issue with my Bubbleking so I used a rubber coupler. Worked great.
