Does anyone on here have any experience with the ReefBrite LED strip or the Ecoxotic stunner strips? i know the Ecoxotic are supposed to be waterproof, So I could put them closer to the water if need be and they are smaller in size. Which would work in being more flexible in placement. But how is the output from them and which one looks better the UV or Blue? And anyone have any experience with the reefbrite? I know they are supposed to give off a ton of light, but it looks bulkier and I don't think I could really make it work on my tank as well as the other strip. Due to the size of the fixture. Either way I'm looking at 2 Reefbrites or 2-3 stunner strips.

I believe that Reef brights are brighter, but I have no experience with them. The stunner strips are good and are probably better with the reflector attachments(I plan on getting them). They are epoxy sealed and are water resistant, not water proof. Stunners are good for dawn/dusk, but are not powerful enough to accent T5 or Halides. I hear that Reef Brights are good supplements for T5. I would suggest using Panoramas as supplements.

Do a lot of research LEDs are a tricky and expensive.

That's what i kinda got from reading about these 2. The package does say water proof on the stunners, but everyone I talked to said they are not that good. My LFs has both running and I saw the difference. There is no comparison, Gonna go with the reefbrite.
