Anyone have a refractometer around midtown Manhattan

If you have one and trust it's readings and are willing to let me use it for an hour please let me know. A friend came over yesterday and after calibration, read 1.020 with my water. I tested with mine and got 1.024. Calibrated both two times! Very confused and a tad worried.

well u can use RO to calibrate it. it has to read exactly 0.

One read 1.020 and the other 1.024.

Great read Russ, thanks. I live a block away from the East River so might try the seawater standard to rule out a slope miscalibration. Researching right now to see if that's really seawater in there lol. If all else fails I'll get back to you and maybe pick up a nice one.
