My overflow box thinks it a toilet

Every couple of minutes my overflow has a surge. It empty's down then fills back up again. Every time it does this I get a bunch of micro bubble in my water column. I'm trying to up load a short video. But with no success MP4. Think it's some kind of air issue. Not sure tho.

get a long piece of airline and stick it down the elbow following the water path to the t, then keep the other end above the water line, that should solve your problem, whats happening is that there is not enough air in the durso.

I agree, the air hole is probably too small. You can also drill a bigger hole into the durso cap. When the hole is too small, it can't get enough air in there to break the siphon which is where the toilet flushing sound comes from.

you need to take that cap off of the top of the tee, extent the pipe about a foot above the tank, then put the cap back on but before drill about 7 holes in the cap and put 7 small pieces of ro tubing inside the holes about 2 inches above the cap. in the future you should always use a bigger drain!
the other thing is you have a tru union ball valves under the pre box, the internal diameter of that tru union ball valve is smaller than one inch! I will be at the mahattan frag swap, I am a rep for Two little fish and and installation expert. please stop by my booth and will explain a little clearer. thanks jay
