mixing lights

I currently have the odyssea 380w metal hylide fixure ( I know not good idea). I used it on my previous tank for almost a year and had no problems. I was wondering if I can remove the pc lights and put in l.e.d. My tank is not currently running but i am close to getting it started just need a few more things. I plan on making it a mixed reef of lps and sps corals.

I might have made this confusing. How do l.e.d compare to P.C lights. Is it worth me removing my P.C lights and installing L.E.D in their place?

Or should I just get a T5 retro fit kit and use that?
