where to buy DIY LEDs?

Hello,

I am thinking of gutting my MH + T5 fixture and replacing it with LEDs. Where can I get the cheapest HE LEDs that I can install myself into the fixture?

It's a 30 gallon tank, 24" wide by 18" tall. Right now I have a 150w 14k MH and 2 24w T5 actinics. How many of each color LEDs would I need to duplicate that? I'm completely new to the LED world so any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Interesting. Although they allow you to select Royal Blue for XPG's... which were never available from the manufacturer.. but I suppose it makes things simplier

XPG's are about 20-30% brighter (forgot the exact numbers) then XRE Q5's

I recommend reefledlights.com , I got mine from there. They have the best price I've seen and can also epoxy and solder the wires for you for a small fee.
