Sounds like this case is quite different. Looks like Cree may have "borrowed" a few LED manufacturing techniques without paying royalties to the patent owner.
Not really an "aquarium use" issue like the PFO case.
This case is so different and I don't think Philips winning the case is any bad to consumer either as we all know they sell lights at very low price. 2 dollar a FL tube!!! In last years' light show, Philips is the only company who mounted their LED facing up and use reflector to reflect light down. They are geniune manufacturer with genuine R&D dept., not just a patent squarter/troll.
