t-5 retro outlet plug

just picked up this fixture but when i brought it home i noticed there was no outlet plug.now i got it for cheap and didnt realize it was missing till i got home.it is a advance ballat 120 to 277v.what outlet plug can i use with this ballast.its a 3 wired baqllast as well.i know nothing about electronics so i need your help.or should i just return it to the seller.

which ballast? i think you should be able to get a plug from the ballast manufacturer.

take an old computer wire and splice it and connect it to the ballast. they typically don't come with the outlet plug and you have to get it yourself.

I'm not sure if it's the wiring harness with plug, or just wiring harness will have the plug. I've only ordered them as complete kits.

Since its a retro kit, it will have the wiring harness to connect to the bulbs, but they sometimes don't come with the wire to connect to the outlet. some retros do, but others don't

i dont have an old computer wire.do u think i can use a 6 plug surge protectors outlet cord

That will work too, but they're usually only 3 feet long.
The 3 wires inside are color coded, black is usually live, red is neutral, green is ground

im going to take a pic of this retro t-5.where the plug goes it looks like it has once arked.there is a hint of burn marks on the piece where an old outlet plug was installed.should i be concerned on hooking this fixture up
