SunLight Supply Ballast HELP!!!

I have a 250W HQI DE metal halide ballast made by SunLight Supply that's not working properly. It's trying to fire up the bulb (brand new) but won't turn on fully? The bulb turns on but very dim. Any ideas? I just got the bulb; bought the bulb thinking it was doing this because my old bulb reached it's life span.

Did you make sure to get the right bulb for the ballast, magnetic pulse vs electronic? And did you wait long enough for the bulb to warm up?

I got the same bulb that was in there before; the set-up was working fine for the last few months and then it went dead.

This will sound retarded but unplug the ballast fully. Then wait like 20 seconds and plug it back in.

I tried this as well, lol...I'm starting to think that something went wrong inside the "Dome" as far as the wiring goes. Have a Solana and I retro-fitted the original 150W set-up to a 250W...

Took the Dome apart and long and behold it was a burnt wire....

Tell me about! When we did the mod on the pendant, we didn't retract the main wires off the reflector....
