Glue recommendation: ATO float in sump

Tanks cycling. I want to glue in the float valve for my ATO. The sump is an acrylic "Custom King" sump. The valve is a JBJ and it uses a plastic bracket (ABS?). What kind of glue should I use to mount it? It needs to be reliable as my sump needs top off every 12 hours to avoid bubbles...

Goop? Silicone? Crazy Glue?

Keith ever consider just siliconing it to the sump instead of glue? If the valve fails it would be able to be easily removed with a razor without damaging the sump to replace it iwht a new one

Maybe an acrylic hanging bracket and few holes for nylon screws to secure the ATO valve? permanently glueing the valve to the sump t self is not so good of an idea.

Yea something like what came with my autotopoff.com rig...a bracket that uses ties to hold it in place.

The valve attaches to a bracket. I just need to attach the bracket. I may make a similar bracket out of acrylic and use the weldon16.

homedepot sells a pvc to abs glue..where you would fing the pvc glue..green can u need to scuff the surface first with sandpaper, cant be shiny.. thatll work

Is it reef safe?

I think I may have killed my tank with a piece of foam I put under the skimmer. All the pods are gone.. Hopefully it's just part of the cycle.
