Koralia Powerheads

I am looking to grab a Koralia Powerhead for my biocube, Fosters and Smith is having a sale.

Does anyone know the difference between these two products?

One says the nano is 14.99, and the other says 34.99, same name, different gph???

Anyone have info on this?

nano ones are super weak. i have a 29 gallon and thought it would be good for it. what a waste. the #2 and #3 of the series have good flow. I have 2 #2's on my 29 gallon.

What size tank are you looking to put this on and is it a reef tank or a fish only?

this are two diferent pumps if you look closer.

Its for a biocube 14 nano reef, 3 fish (2 clowns and a goby).I think they just mean a general timer, the ones for the controlleres have a different powercord. I just noticed the same name and a much cheaper price.both should plug into a wall outlet. The cheaper one is much less gph but also larger I think.

the 14.99 is the old model !!which is good for a nano about 8 gallon or so! for smething larger then 8 galons its bit weak! hope that helps to make your dicision!

The cheaper one is actually MORE gph @ 400. The Nano (smaller) is 240 gph.

The Nano may be an 'older' model but they are not discontinued or obscure- they are just a different design
