I bought one of these self rotating powerheads made by Zoo-Med a couple of months ago. Despite cleaning it does not rotate well anymore. I checked in with my local aquarium socioty and found three other people with the same trouble.
I took the rotating head out of mine to lessen the restriction, since it doesnt rotate worth a crap anyways, so now I have a 228gph powerhead that I paid about the same $ as a 800 gph fixed one cost :x
:idea: I find these things are built very poorly and think that a heads up to other reffkeepers who may be concidering one of these is in order.
