Hello Trigger system users, quick question
on the second to last baffle (adjustable wall), do you let the water fall down ?
If yes, how long is the drop

You use the wall to set your skimmer height. What ever amount the water falls after that wall or doesnt fall doesnt matter much

My skimmer requires 7" water to operate properly, and in order to achieve that height, that wall need to be set to the lowest position, and there is no "water fall" .. I guess it's fine.

yeah, not having a "waterfall" is fine. I dont have a trigger sump as im currently using a DIY sump i made with a 40b, but I dont have any "waterfall" at the end of my sump because that causes bubbles to get sucked into the return pump causing microbubbles in the tank.

There is no way you can get bubbles there, because it has a 2" sponge there.

If you want the waterfall you can put less water in the return chamber. Not needed though.
