Nuvo 30L upgrade pump

Hello all,

looking at buying a backup pump for my nuvo 30L. Anyone have any recommendations. Right now i am using the stock pump with the Y hose that it came with. However, if i buy a new pump do i have to buy a new fitting to connect the hose to the new pump? Which pumps would work with this setup?

I use a Vectra S1 in my IM 50, same size chambers as yours. I keep the stock pump as backup. I like the DC control options.

Did you have to buy any new fittings for the hose? I saw on other forums that depending on the pump the some people had to buy specific fittings whether 1/2? or 3/4?? Did you have to?

Yes, i don't remember the exact fittings used and reducers, but spent probably $5 at home depot.

You can run sicce 2.0 or 3.0 and there is a fitting for it at amazon
