Waveline Dc 5000

Anyone running a waveline DC 5000 as a external return pump I would like some input on these because I'm considering running it on my new 180 gallon build. I know in the past they had some issues I would like to know if they resolve these.

I'm running a DC10000 external and I think it's weak on my 180G. I wish I had the biggest model as you can dial down. I did a manifold, and it can't even handle a pellet reactor flow's need. Did they resolve the issue, not sure, but they were suppose to have new better controller for it.

Do you have any head pressure? Or is it in stand? I will have a manifold but not much on it just small feed to cal reactor and GFO/ carbon used occasionally

no head pressure. tank's tallest point is at 6ft. manifold was only handling gfo/carbon reactor and pellet reactor. These pump don't pack any pressure. Had to take pellet reactor offline and run it independently.
