Calling all Reefkeeper owners. im looking to get it as it seems to take care of everything i need. without the insane price of the APEX systems. Can any of the owners give me pros and cons and what to expect?

cons - it will never compare to an apex. Good luck, with all the recommendations for the apex on YOUR other thread anyone would of thought you would of went with the better controller

i have a rke and I'm happy with it. to me its just a glorified timer cause i don't get advanced with it cause i don't know how.
never owned an apex but you hear all positive about them. never had a problem with the rkl or the rke, i had the rkl first.

I have the ReefKeeper Elite It's been very good to me with no complaints at all so for.

And it's cheeper then the apex and it's dose most things that the apex dose so save your MONEY ..

But If you have MONEY to brun why not spend the money and buy an apex!

I have the RKE
works well for me, pretty cool timer features.
I'm running 16 controlled channels.

Apex, from what I have read seems to be more user friendly & you can hook up a webcam to it as well.
