Help asap Reef Octopus Water Blaster 3000 impeller

Anybody know how to replace the Reef Octopus Water Blaster 3000 impeller. Something is stuck in there and I need to take the impeller out, but it's hard and i don't want to break it.

It looks like once you take the housing off, just simply pull out the impeller. The impeller is attached to grey circle what from the pictures looks to be prior to the o-ring. Give it a try, this is my opinion only and have no personal experience.
