looking for a good vaccuum to aid in cleaning my tank
tank is. 27" deep if that factors in at all. what have you been using or suggest to a avoid?

If no one using a syphon or vacuum how or what do you use to clean?

When you mean vacuum to aid cleaning your tank, Do you mean while doing a water change, to vacuum/siphon your sand bed and rocks? Or do you mean vacuuming the detritus from your sump? If it's for vacuuming your sand and rocks, you can use a vinyl hose or one of those gravel cleaners. If it's for your sump, then you can get a mini wet/dry vacuum. That's what I use.

thats. ive tried the bucket head. fills up quickly
just looking for something that actually pulls up crap from tank while doing wc's

i use the hose with the gravel cleaner. you have to control the flow or it will suck your sand out. i use it every couple of water changes.
