Has anyone seen the new monitor coming out?

I came across this article yesterday and was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this. It is pricey at around $600 and $35 every three months for the replacement disks but if it can do everything it claims it may be worth it. Continuous monitoring of all our major levels may help stop a crash before it happens

heard about this about 4 months ago. I would of thought by now we would of heard something else regarding this product. But then again I don't have a Facebook page and that is the only way of contacting them and finding out what is going on with this product. I for one would definitely be interested but I don't know how much I would be at $600. sounds almost like a ecotech product. If and when it comes out I will wait for the second batch to be released. that way we will all have some sort of feedback on how it works and if it is reliable. I surely do expect this item to sell out in minutes if and when they release it

I mean if you consider all the test kits you buy and the innacuracies you get from them, just imagine all the headaches it will save you and all the things that it will help prevent. And consider this, the Neptune Apex oxygen probe is $600 alone not to mention you need a $100 module to use it as well. Real neat product, just wish Neptune would do something similar to add-on these different parameters.

exactly so who is to say this won't have inaccuracies like the rest of them. nothing is a sure thing

They are actually talking about plugging it into different controllers. I am hoping the APEX will be able to read the data so I can program it to react to the changes it sees. Stuff like if we start to see a salinity downswing the APEX can turn off the ATO or ALK is swinging up turn off the ALK dosing pump or Kalk reactor.

I just read the facebook page and it looks like they update it. They apparently found a better way to measure calcium and are testing to see how different lights affect their light sensors. They are also doing tests to see how the disk is effected by extreme shipping temps. They say right now the disk is harmed by freezing so they are working on that. No release date but it looks like active work is going on and promising.

The price is high but I know a tank crash will definitely cost me a lot more not to mention kill the livestock that is my responsibility to keep alive so I am considering it.
