BRS 150 GPD Water Saver Upgrade Kit

Have anyone tried this upgrade kit to make your 75 gpd to 150 gpd? Any comments?

I got it, it was easy to install and my unit does output more water now.

Is there a substantial diff for output or is it only marginal? I assume it should be double the output going from 75 gpd --> 150 gpd.

From what I can tell I make about 60 gal in 10 hours after installing it running it at 75 psi.

I bought a booster pump so I should be able to get the PSI. Looks like i'm going to give this upgrade a try.

Is there a preferred location for the RODI unit? on the wall (same elevation as faucet)? on the floor? the output will have to fight gravity?

Not sure about preferred location, I put mine in the laundry room on the wall about two feet higher then where i tapped into the cold water pipe that feeds the washing machine but thats cause it worked there lol.

I also got it, because it supposed to be more efficient and use less water. I can't say for sure because the it was my first RODI, but in theory it makes sense.

easy to install and it does seem to work, I've noticed less waste since I did the upgrade but have not gotten out a stop watch and bucket.
I don't think the height matters much, a few feet on a 1/4" line is not going to make much difference on the pressure.

Got one, as well as the booster pump. Big difference, I definitely recommend it. Faster water production, faster water changes.
