Calcium reactor media?

Im shutting my calcium reactor down for a bit and wanted to know can I save the media if I rinse it off and store it in a closed container. Just filled it up 2 weeks ago and dont want to waste it.

I don't see why not. I would rinse it in RO water, let it dry out and then store. Unless it has become too mushy?
