Reeflo Blowhole pumps

Just be aware if your looking at pumps stay clear of the reeflo blowholes. I have had my tank up since september and I have been through 3 of these pumps. Now reeflo has amazing customer service and they sent me another one of their pumps to replace the blowhole. I wouldnt stay clear of reeflo just this one particular pump

It sounds like they aren't making that pump any longer.

I read numerous threads on the web and they refer to some issue with the first beta batch and getting some bad parts for them.

That thread is about the 1450. The 2700 is the one I had. Last time it blew it got so hot I couldnt touch the pump. I noticed a burning smell from the basement and when I went down there I touched the pump for a second and almost burnt my hand

ahhhh..didn't specify the pump.
Scary none the less! Good you have a different one now
