Aquamaxx calcium reactors?

Hello,

Since I am dosing so much that getting a calcium reactor seems to make sense... has anyone used an Aquamaxx Star Nano before? If so, what are your opinions about it? (note, that's for a 25 gallon)

Have you considered dosing pumps? Aquamaxx is typically a solid company but I haven't heard much about their calcium reactors.

I am actually already using peristaltic pumps, but I am getting at the point where using a calcium reactor might become cheaper.

Thanks for your input about the company, I am totally out of touch with regards to this type of equipment.

You might try searching for the company "JNS". They make skimmers for Aquamaxx (and used to make them for Warner Marine) so they might have the same arrangement for calcium reactors.

The nano gets 4/5 stars on marine depot but there aren't too many reviews.

Thanks for the info. Indeed I was looking at the reviews, but sadly not only do they have few (normal for a new model), you cannot really tell which size/model they are referring to.

There is a user on RC who has one and he seems happy about it.
