Hello MR
I'm looking for a small light for my fuge. I have a custom sump with a fuge area that is 4"x12". I'm planning to add Ecosystems miracle mud and grow some chaeto. The area can also serve as a rescue area for any frags if needed.
I've seen the TrueLumen LEDs at AV and I like the small form factor and heard that it can grow anything.

Are the TrueLumens overkill? And any other recommendations to cover the fuge area above and my needs would be appreciated.

I read about using home depot lights. I am going there next weekend and will check and see what options they have. Thanks for the specs. The LED strip I was looking at was 12k with blue and white.

How is that light? Do you like it so far? Any pics?

I like the light...so far. It has a blue LED built in, which is not needed for a sump, but is cool to have.
See below for pictures. The first pic is with the blue LED only and the second is with all lights on. The clip can fit onto a rimless or can be adjusted to fit onto a broader lip, I think its about an inch wide when fully adjusted. Unfortunately, the corners of my sump is way too wide for the clip to sit evenly, so I have it clipped on at an angle. It is very sturdy and secure in this location.
