Anyone Have Or Use A Mojano wand?

hello again MR I'm tired of fighting this aptasia or mojano anyway thinking of buying one of these just wondering if it kills them for good or do they come back after a while like aptasia-x and if anyone has one laying around willing to help a brotha out with a nice deal let me know thanks

The reason they come back is cause you can't treat them all. Same would go for the wand, but then you just zap 'em. The only other method to eradicate them is to get some natural predators.

+1... Unless you can get every bit of the aiptasia with the chemicals or the 'wand', they will come right back!

I disagree I only have three in the whole tank its the same ones they are in the same exact spot everytime I spray them with the x in a few weeks there back

I have some laying around but of course I invented the thing. In my own tank my wife loves to kill majano's, it keeps her from nagging me so it also makles me happy.
The wand kills them completely and disintegrates them but the reason they proliferate is that they can grow from spores and if you have some, you probably have dozens or hundreds of tiny ones in crevaces in the rock that you can't see. When conditions are right, for a reason no one knows, they pop up and grow all over the place. Sometimes they go dorment and don't show up for a while.
No treatment is a one time deal as they keep growing just like weeds on a lawn.
It is an ongoing treatment that you may have to do once or twice a month, just like any other tank maintenance.
Mine are now gone, I guess they got tired of my wife killing them and finally gave up.
But I bet if I look close, I will find some.

Paul, I was waiting for the short one to come out to keep my xenia and GSP under control. Have you tested it on them? I don't want to eradicate them but keep em corralled in.

The factory is still building the short version. I think they may have a bunch of them finished but they wait until they have the entire order which may be a few hundred or so before they ship them to the wholesalers. But they are exactly like the large ones, only much shorter so they will work the same.
I still use the long ones although I did build a small one, I never used it.
I will try to find out when they will be ready.

The mini wands are in the wholesalers and are available on line. They are exactly like the larger ones but a third of it's size. Like the large ones, the entire device can be submerged.
