Reeflo blowhole 2700

Does anyone run this pump? Do you keep the pipe at 1" diameter or do you go down to 3/4? My plan was to go 3/4 pipe but not sure if it will put to much strain on the pump. Tried looking up some direcions and do and donts for this pump but cant find anything

I got no manual jerl. Im asking because my seaswirl is 3/4 and my over flow holes in the tank are 3/4

Are you talking about the intake or return? The intake should never be reduced. The output can be if needed...

yes the output. I was going to reduce it when the return got under the tank from 1" to 3/4 then feed my sea swirls

just come off the pump with one inch , then when you get closer to the seaswirl and your returns reduce it down to 3/4 buddy. you want to keep 1 inch coming from sump to pump , then 1 inch off pump , then reduce it when you get to the swirl and returns. no need to put the strain right at the beginning.

The input must be one inch
