I cut a some short pieces of larger diameter tubing and sleeved it onto the end of the pickup line so it is weighted down into the water.
Looks a little better.

What's wrong with home Depot orange buckets? I've been using then for years. I use few of them so much that the metal wire handle broke off, lol. My fish and corals are all happy using Hd buckets.
