Little over a month and half ago I upgraded my system to a 150G and kept the same skimmer. I am using my SWC 160 that I bought in November and was and still happy with it. However, I want to go bigger as SWC is rated for 150g light bio-load.

Some criteria for a new skimmer:
- Wanted to be rated for at least 200-210G
- Reliable
- Reasonable power consumption
- Priced in accordance with performance

Also, did anyone use or hear things about the new line of Reef Octopus DC Skimmers?

So far these are the two brands that I am considering. I could get a Bubble Magus Curve 9 for like $250+Shipping and Reef Oct will run me about $600-$700. Now I know Reef Oct makes quality products, Bubble Magus I havent really heard anything about it. I really dont want to pay $250 for a skimmer and then end up paying for a Reef Oct.

ATB and the RLSS are definitely confiscates. I have a limited clearance space when considering hight and running depth of the skimmer. I heard really good things about ATB but haven't heard anything about RLSS.

Wow, not "confiscates" candidates. Lol, damn auto correct.

On second note I am definitely can not go with the SRO 3000, the clearance is not allowing me, and I cannot redesign the refugium because the only way to get it out from underneath the stand is to move the entire system. Am sure that is something people would not consider doing.
