Skimmer
I run the Vertex 130 on my Elos 70 with heavy bioload. I love and hate it, it?s a great, extremely quite skimmer which sucks lots of dark stinky skim-mate but is quick to overflow if the water level rises more than 8? in the skimmer chamber of the sump. Or it won?t pull anything if it?s below the 8? mark in the sump. So an ATO is necessary to maintain it working just right. Another thing is you need to clean the thick crude that accumulates in the cup and neck often to maintain it running well. But like I said it pulls a lot of stinky fish waste I would definitely recommend it but just know how critical the optimum water level is with this skimmer. I?m still running mine today.
