Has anyone have issues where there pump puts out a current , this is my 3rdpump that's doin it

bad luck? I've had two for years now and I work them like a mule. Btw, how do you know its throwing off current?

I have one on my frag tank , and it was process of elimination,, this is the 3rd one in the past year

I have had them to that, but they were always older like 5+ years ...I also have them spin backwards and can't get them to right themselves.
