Im having an issue with my RK.

I bought it second hand from a member here but it did not include the SL1. So while I was waiting for the SL1 in the mail, i have been using the two PC4's just as outlets to run my equipment. Fast forward...

I got the SL1 and ph probe in the mail.. I hooked up the display unit, SL1, and probe together and for some reason it shuts down my PC4.

Do I have to unplug all the outlets and plug them in one at a time while programming each one?

Check the firmware on each module. Compare them to the latest firmware list on there website. The SL1 might have the newest firmware compared to your other modules.

You may want to upgrade the firmware on the head unit. You should be able to plug things in an any order and have them work. It sounds like its an older controller and a new sl1.

RKL 2.06
PC4 2.04
SL1 2.03
Check them with your display. Hit menu then Modules it will list them.

What does this mean and what do I do about it lol thanks guys this stuff is driving me nuts

You have to hook it up to your pc and download the latest firmware. There should have been an Ethernet dongle with the system. If not I have one you can borrow.

Not sure what a dongle is lol he gave me a Net mod, is that what I would use?

This is the dongle u need to upgrade the firmware.
