Somebody is selling me a 72 bowfront drilled but no filter, I have a magnum 350 that works great on my 60 gallon (not drilled) can I run it on this new tank ?? If so... How??? Please help !
are you looking to run the magnum the same way at you do on current tank? if you dont want to use the reef ready aspect i guess you could get bulk heads that serve as caps, not sure proper name for them but essentially same function as bulk head but its seals the hole. or nix the magnum and setup a reef ready tank up to you and what your comfortable with, and of course what your looking to do with the tank
I have a magnum 350 also and I love it it has an in and a out so if the tank is drilled just run the lines right into the fitting where they are drilled info the tank you might need adapters
Move all my stuff to the new tank, but first things first, thanks a lot thirty6, do you think it will work out if I run it the same way I've been running it??
i think it would, i have never used a magnum type filter before. if you can run the lines through like jrl suggested that would be good too. the corner overflows only take up a small footprint inside the tank, but its still usable space so you should take advantage of its function. if you decide to cap off the holes, maybe you can remove the overflow boxes all together. ton of info here, just spend some time looking-and if you cant find it ask
